Special H.O.R.S.E. edition now available on the Kindle

The H.O.R.S.E. mix is the leading mixed game offering in both live and online play today.

That's why we've extracted the H.O.R.S.E. chapters from the larger volume of A Poker Player's Guide to Mixed Games, and reformatted it for the Kindle!

Want to get a taste of mixed games strategy, without yet having to commit to learning the seven other games that make up the broader mixes? This e-book CORE STRATEGIES FOR H.O.R.S.E. (Kindle Edition) may be just the solution for you.

Thanks!

It's been five months after the initial launch of A Poker Player's Guide to Mixed Games and I'm grateful for the overwhelmingly positive feedback received so far.

#PPGMG #MixedGamesRevolution

I've heard from both mixed game regulars and those just starting to learn mixed games; and from poker enthusiasts from the U.S. and Canada and as far away as Japan and New Zealand!

It has been a long time coming since the poker community has seen a dedicated resource on mixed games published, and your support and enthusiasm is helping the word spread steadily.

Thanks again for being part of the Mixed Games Revolution, and good luck at the tables!

PokerStrategy.com: Mixed Games Q & A

I had the opportunity to participate in an in-depth Q & A session with PokerStrategy.com members on the topic of mixed games. Questions along the lines of  "Is it best to learn individual games slowly or all at once as a beginner?", "What are some of the main reasons why No Limit Hold'em players should learn mixed games?", and "What are some of the key struggling points No Limit Hold'em players face when approaching mixed games for the first time?" were asked.

Check out all the answers in this discussion thread (click here) at PokerStrategy.com.

PPGMG Review on YouTube

Thanks to Aaron C. for taking the time out to do a video comment on "A Poker Player's Guide to Mixed Games".  We certainly will consider expanding on some of the sections (e.g. Badacey, A-5 Triple Draw) when we're ready to prepare an e-book version for the Draw Games, in response to your suggestion. Look out for "A Poker Player's Guide to Draw Games"!  :-)

Mixed Games - Bracelet Winners at the World Series of Poker

The 2014 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is coming to a close -- all that is left is to crown the Main Event champion who will be guaranteed to win $10 million. The finalists will be determined in the coming weeks, and will meet again in November to determine the winner.

For those of you who have been following (or playing in) other events at the WSOP this year, you might agree that we saw some very exciting contests between many highly skilled players in the non-Hold'em events. It should be clear by now that anyone serious about duking it out for a highly coveted WSOP bracelet (or making it on to a Fantasy Poker League roster for that matter) simply can no longer afford to ignore the mixed games events.

Even if you are just a casual player or an observer, there's no better time to start familiarizing yourself with mixed games than now (it's as easy as picking up a copy of A Poker Player's Guide to Mixed Games - now on sale at Amazon.com)
